Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is an ailment that places a great strain on sufferers and their support groups (family, friends, colleagues, etc.) due to the physical, social, emotional and lifestyle issues associated with the condition. It has no single cause and as such has no known ‘cure’. What is known is that the major physical and emotional effects can be treated.
The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Recovery Program (CFSRP) aims to return participants to a more normal state of health and lifestyle using physical reconditioning and emotional support. It is a holistic approach (no drugs) to rehabilitation that is supported by a team of professionals. The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Recovery Program (CFSRP) caters for all age groups.
Mary and Matthew Hoch founded the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Recovery Program in early 2006. Matthew had waged a six-year battle with CFS that involved exploring both mainstream and alternative treatments, resulting in frustration and often exacerbating symptoms. In 2005 Matthew successfully responded to the adolescent program run by Dr Lionel Lubitz. Seeing this, Mary and Matthew were inspired to deliver a program that would help and offer hope to as many people living with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) as possible.
The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Recovery Program is being conducted in a caring and nurturing environment in Melbourne.
Participants require a referral from their medical practitioner to be accepted to complete the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Recovery Program (CFSRP).
